As with all fly rods from the Biocraft XR series, the blanks of the BIOCRAFT XR FLY are also based on the exclusive carbon fibre technologies from Shimano. This results in responsive and lightweight fly rods with superior performance. They offer an incomparably direct feel when casting and allow a delicate and precise presentation of your fly.

The fittings of all models of the BIOCRAFT XR FLY rods are of high quality, the workmanship is impeccable. The fly rods of the line classes #3 and #4 have an elegant uplock reel seat with beautiful wooden insert. The fly rods of line class #5 are equipped with an aluminium reel seat (uplock as well) milled in the shape of an x with generous cut-outs and dark insert. The handle of all fly rods is made of s-grade Powercork. The fly rods are equipped with a guide ring with SIC insert as well as single legged running guides. Just above the rod handle is a practical hook keeper.

All BIOCRAFT XR FLY rods are delivered in a velvet case as well as a hardcase rod tube.
