The MLA² 1plus reel is ideal for filigree and light fishing along streams and rivers. Especially when fishing with very fine leaders, the finely adjustable brake is an advantage. With a precise click, the line pulls off jerk-free when drilling. The small model is also saltwater-resistant and made of the full CNC.

FEATURES

• All aluminium parts consist of EN AW 7075, which is more torsion-resistant and

corrosion-protected than conventional aircraft aluminium.

• All models are maintenance-free and suitable for tropical saltwater fishing.

• All components are turned from the solid. No unstable corrosive diecast is

used.

• There are no coatings, only hard anodising type 2 is used to protect against

corrosion.

• Inside, all brake parts are made of saltwater-resistant stainless steel type

1.4404 and 1.4435.

• The counter brake discs running against the stainless steel discs consist of a

durable carbon matrix.

• Only the highest quality seawater-resistant greases with long service lives are

used as lubricants.

• The half-closed frame has 100% concentricity accuracy. This protects against

tarnishing and prevents the jamming of flylines.
• The brake system is very finely adjustable and offers an easy handling by the

large adjusting knob.

• The function is always guaranteed at both high and low temperatures.

• The MLA is suitable for left-hand and right-hand operation – all you have to dois rotate one bearing.

RELIABILITY

The MLA² series covers the entire fishing range – whether on the river or in tropical saltwater. The maintenance-free brake system is 100% reliable in every situation. The materials are perfectly matched and the spool runs torsion-free. The SST carbon brake system has hardly any wear. Four CFRP stainless steel surfaces divide the surface pressure and thus ensure smooth running of the brake. The adjusting wheel of the brake is encapsulated with an O-ring and the rotating brake body on the side of the spool closes to the reel cage. The inner area is protected with high-performance grease. The continued rotation of the reel during casting is achieved thanks to an exact bearing and precise balancing of the spool. This prevents the line from winding itself up while casting. The spool screw is secured for a safe change of the spool in and at the water. It won’t fall off and get lost. We always have all parts for our reels in stock and can deliver at short notice. It doesn’t matter whether the service is provided directly by us or by your dealer.
